During my freshman year of college in a small dorm, I decided to start an online clothing company. I had always been very interested in fashion and clothing, and wanted to design my own and see people around the world wearing it. Through influencer marketing, creating consumer engaging advertisement campaigns, and designing and sourcing products alongside top manufacturers, I was able to create a brand that was seen by millions of people a month across Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
Now as many marketers may know, having a high number of impressions does not mean you will necessarily have a great conversion rate. I alone handled customer service by responding to any questions or concerns shoppers may have had, SEO/SEM and website design, Google Ads and social media campaigns, and PR. Through this I believe was the main reason I was able to capture over 21,000 orders and $740,000 dollars in revenue in 12 months.
